Gigapans around campus
This week, we have been taking high-resolution, zoomable panoramas of trees around campus. Use the controls to the left in the panorama below to zoom in and move around in the image. And look at the student's posts to the right for more on campus trees and autumn leaf color change.

Welcome
Welcome to the blog for the Economic Botany first-year seminar at Sweet Briar College. Plants are fundamental to human economies. The domestication of
plants for agriculture and the allure of chocolate, drugs and spices have
shaped our currency and our culture. In our seminar, we are examining the biological
aspects of plants that give them properties useful to humans and the complex
intersection of plants and money. Browse the student blogs to the right to see what are are currently studying.
